TDS Intelligent Dry Sorters
Introduction
AABRA TDS Intelligent Dry Sorters is an advanced coal-reject sorting equipment independently
developed by Meiteng Technology. This innovation has surpassed the limitations of traditional
mineral processing technologies, offering revolutionary advancements to the coal industry. By the
end of December 2022, over 270 units of TDS had been sold, solidifying its position as the number
one choice in the industry. Its sorting accuracy exceeds traditional water washing (jigging) methods,
delivering outstanding performance and stable operation.
By employing advanced intelligent recognition technology, the TDS establishes analysis models
tailored to different coal characteristics. This enables precise big data analysis to digitally recognize and separate coal from reject materials. High-pressure air, controlled by high-speed solenoid valves,
ensures efficient and accurate sorting. Through applications in various regions and coal quality sites, Meiteng has accumulated substantial coal quality data, resulting in over 70 algorithm models for
material segmentation, classification, and air blowing. The first TDS unit began operation at
Zhaozhuang CHPP in 2016 and has operated stably ever since.
Over the years, AABRA – Meiteng has
achieved multiple major breakthroughs, including:

TDS Principle
The TDS is an innovative solution for separating coal and reject materials, marking a groundbreaking
advancement in mineral processing technology. The separation accuracy of TDS exceeds traditional
methods and has been reliably used in the mining industry for years. TDS employs intelligent identification to create analysis models corresponding to various coal quality haracteristics. Utilising
big data, it digitally identifies and separates coal and reject materials, with reject discharge handled
by an intelligent system.

auxiliary systems for air supply, dust removal, power distribution, and control
Radiation Exemption Filing
TDS/XRT series products completed radiation exemption filing on December 10, 2021. According to
the “Management Measures for the Safety and Protection of Radioisotopes and Radiation Devices” issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China (Order No. 18), the TDS series products are exempt from radiation management. Users of these products are also exempt, ensuring convenience and compliance. This exemption is lifelong, with a one-time filing securing permanent exemption.
